It’s easy to get into a routine with marketing activities: To post on Tuesday lunchtime because that’s what you’ve done for the past couple of years; to send your email newsletter every first day of the month (like me); to get stuck in on social media with #MondayMotivation or #ThrowbackThursday – #SillyHashtagTrends.
It’s easy, and it’s safe. It’s another thing off the To Do list.
But, let’s face it. It’s fucking tedious.
It’s not only tedious for you having to do it; it’s even more mind-numbingly boring for the audience.
You know when you see some great marketing and think to yourself how clever it is. Why not do that instead?
